Please note below important information regarding registration for the 2025 Virginia Division Convention on April 11-13, 2025:

The Turner Ashby Camp 1567 is honored to host the 2025 Virginia Division Convention at the George Washington Hotel in Winchester, Virginia, April 11-13.

Hotel room reservations must be made by March 11, 2025 in order to secure the hotel’s group rate of $199. All registration forms, vendor forms and ancestral/advertisement ads need to be in by March 21, 2025.

Hotel Reservations:
• Web: Online reservations can be made now at the George Washington, a Wyndham Grand Hotel.

• Phone: When making reservations over the phone (540-431-2498) mention “2025 SCV Annual Convention”.

Confederate Sites of Interest Nearby:
The City of Winchester and the surrounding Shenandoah Valley is ground zero for many of the greatest battles in our Southern War of Independence. We are pleased to offer a 3-hr guided battlefield bus tour to Cedar Creek and Kernstown as a highlight for Saturday afternoon, Apr. 12. The bus will take attendees from the Hotel and back. For the evening dinner we’re happy to have Mr. Jerry Holsworth who will talk on the “Devil Diarists of Winchester”, citizen diarists who chronicled the city and spied on the Yankees during the war. In walking distance from the hotel you will find Stonewall Jackson’s Headquarters, the Handley Library, and the pedestrian mall with many shops and cafes, along with the Shenandoah Valley Civil War Museum at the Old Court House. In addition, just a short distance from the hotel is Stonewall Cemetery inside Mt. Hebron where our great chieftain, Brig. Gen. Turner Ashby, is buried alongside the Patton brothers and 3,000 Confederate soldiers from every southern state, and many other notable Virginians. We will be including a roster of soldiers buried there, and a list of area attractions and dining options in your registration packets.

Vendors:
